What We Do

Baptism: We believe baptism is essential to Salvation. “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” Acts 2:38 “Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.” Mark 16:16
Communion: As Jesus lined out in the Gospels during the Last Supper, we, too, are to commune with one another on the first day of the week to remember the sacrifice of Jesus. “This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.”… “This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.” 1 Cor. 11:24,25
Singing: Singing is a big part of our worship. We use just our voices to praise God. “Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord.” Eph. 5:19
Sermon And Classes: Each Sunday, a message from the Bible will be delivered. We offer adult and children classes. Bring your brain and be prepared to learn! 2 Tim. 3:16
Giving: Giving from the heart is outlined in scripture, and it allows us to fund important things as a congregation. 2 Cor. 9:7; 1 Cor. 16:2
Prayer: We believe in the power of prayer and incorporate this in every service. We truly believe God listens and answers prayer.
